Localise Campaign Assets Without Rebuilding the Shoot
A localisation matrix helps brands plan language, copy, audio, edit, product and approval differences before the master campaign is produced.

List markets and channels together
Create a row for every market and channel combination. A language version for paid social may need different duration, safe areas and text than the same market's retail screen or website film.
Separate spoken, written and embedded language
Track voice-over, dialogue, subtitles, end cards, product labels, pack shots, interface screens and graphics independently. Some elements can be changed in post-production; others must be captured cleanly or replaced during the shoot.
Protect editable areas in production
When text or product variants will change, identify the frames that need clean plates, negative space or alternate takes. Plan composition for the longest expected translation rather than only the master language.
Assign local approval
Name who approves meaning, brand tone, legal copy and product accuracy in each market. Translation delivery is not approval. Keep a record of source copy, approved adaptation, reviewer and final asset version.
Build the master for variation
Choose which elements remain constant across markets and which can change. A modular edit may protect the main campaign idea while allowing different benefits, products or calls to action. The asset list and budget should reflect those planned variations before production.
