An international shoot can involve a director and producer travelling with an approved treatment, an agency managing several stakeholders or a brand looking for a team that can develop and deliver the work. PHOCUS can join at each of those starting points. We first map what has already been decided, which responsibilities remain with your team and where you need local ownership. That creates a clear division across creative decisions, client communication, production management and delivery. Instead of asking your producer to coordinate separate Spanish suppliers, PHOCUS gives the project one local production plan and one accountable point of contact. English-language communication, consolidated updates, approval deadlines and the requirements of remote stakeholders are addressed before production. The purpose is to make Spain easier to produce in while protecting the creative, schedule and information your team needs to manage the project.
Production services can include budgeting and feasibility, location research and scouting, permits, casting and talent coordination, local crew, equipment, studios, art department, styling, hair and makeup, travel, accommodation, transport, catering, insurance requirements and on-set management. Depending on the brief, PHOCUS can also coordinate photography and film together, or continue through editing, retouching, colour, sound, VFX and delivery. We plan against the actual asset list: hero content, campaign stills, cutdowns, vertical formats, digital and paid placements, social, outdoor, point of sale and retail print. Usage, territories, talent terms and delivery specifications belong in that conversation because they affect both the estimate and the production route. The result is a scope your team can review, approve and hand over internally without relying on assumptions hidden between suppliers.

Spain offers Mediterranean coast, Atlantic landscapes, dry terrain, mountain and snow settings, contemporary cities, historical streets, islands and extensive studio infrastructure. The best-looking reference is not automatically the best working location. We compare the visual requirement with season, light, access, permits, unit size, company moves, crew base, equipment, accommodation and travel. Once the route is selected, pre-production follows a shared schedule for scouting, casting, crew, technical checks and approvals. Estimates identify the assumptions that can change cost, such as cast usage, weather cover, overtime, art builds, specialist equipment, number of locations and post-production scope. During production, local decisions remain connected to the approved plan. After wrap, responsibilities for selects, edit, finishing, masters and adaptations are handed over according to the delivery schedule agreed before the shoot.
PHOCUS produces in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Málaga and Andalucía, northern Spain including Cantabria and Asturias, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. For mountain and snow campaigns, we can also coordinate the Spanish Pyrenees and Andorra. Madrid offers central access, studios and deep technical infrastructure. Barcelona combines a major production base with Mediterranean city and coast. Valencia and Alicante provide modern architecture, beaches, varied landscapes and strong regional access. Andalucía brings distinctive cities, coastline and dry terrain. Northern Spain offers greener Atlantic landscapes; the islands provide environments that need additional freight, travel and weather planning. We do not present every region as interchangeable.
